We ended up making it to the Embassy and on time! (No pictures because apparently you can't take ANY pictures near ANY government buildings. Couldn't even have a camera in my bag that day.) They hearded us through several security check points and into a large room where we waited with all the other adoptive famlies from our agency. It was neat to see all the kids that were getting to go home and to see the kids interact...a lot of the older kids obviously knew each other and got to play together one last time before being scattered across the United States!
Our time at the window was short lived and everything went smoothly and according to plan. The paperwork was processed and would be delivered to us Friday morning along with the boys passports and visas. It's really funny to think back now that we all worry so much about that appointment with the Embassy. Obviously, things can go much differently if all the paperwork isn't in place, but if everything is done, it's a quick 5 minutes with an employee of the Embassy and then on your way!
We spent the rest of the day just hanging out at the guesthouse, playing and getting to know our boys better!!
When I took this picture, I said "1...2...3...Smile!" Sam looked at me and said, "...4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!" Ha! Didn't know the kid could count until then!!
