I know I've told y'all multiple times about our church being located in two trailers that have to be set up in the local middle school each Sunday and Wednesday.
We've had church with no water. With no electricity. With no workers. With frozen diaper wipes. With no curriculum. With stolen trailers. Well, actually without the stolen trailers. Pretty much we have the most awesome people in the world and we can have church with or without any parameters you dare place on us.
Sunday provided us with a totally new problem. Both of our trailers with everything from diaper pails to drum sets are locked behind what we like to consider a very secure location. Well, Sunday it was just a little too secure. As in, the motorized gate was frozen shut. And the owner of said secure gate was enjoying himself far, far away on the beaches of Hawaii. Nice. A lot of help you are.
So, we did church with nothing.
It's not as bad as it sounds really. And funny to watch people's faces as you tell them they can't have their customary Sunday morning coffee. Or that we are using folded up towels as a makeshift diaper changing table.
