We...er, Santa...brought the boys some rather cheap, but fairly functional, sleds at Christmas. The boys begged to go play all day today. I managed to put them off until the afternoon, but eventually had to face the brutal wind and sideways snow so we could test out our new high-tech plastic cruisers. Now, we don't have the best hill for sledding, but when you are from Ethiopia ANY hill with snow on it will do! And our front yard is actually a much larger hill, but sledding down a big hill followed by being squashed by a passing car is really no fun for anyone.It's our own personal "Danger Zone". (I was feeling "Top Gunny" this evening. For whatever that's worth. Plus it made the boys seem like they were going way faster than they actually were.)
